A Day on the Bridge Fundraiser for Land Acquisition

A Day On the Bridge is a once-in-a-lifetime event (www.adotb.ca)

On Sunday June 11, 2017 from noon to 11pm the McQuesten High Level Bridge – an iconic gateway to Hamilton, is being closed to vehicular traffic. The community is invited to enjoy the magnificent views of CootesParadise, Hamilton Harbour and the Niagara Escarpment from this unique vantage point.There’s something for everyone, as people can picnic on the bridge, take part in numerous events and activities being held throughout the day, and culminating in a gala fundraising dinner for 800 people.

OUR MISSION

A Day On The Bridge will raise funds to purchase and protect land that will become a part of the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System and raise awareness of the value of green space and its role in the future of a vibrant city.
