Volunteer Invasive Shrub Removal

Invasive plants and animals are creeping into Royal Botanical Gardens’ nature sanctuaries. Something needs to be done, and you can help! Volunteer with us and you will protect our important interior forest ecosystems by extracting and destroying non-native invasive shrubs.

*Please note that this event will occur rain or shine. Cancellation due to inclement weather will be posted on RBG Canada’s Facebook Page and on Twitter (@RBGCanada)


  • Dress for the weather and be prepared to get dirty
  • Gloves and equipment will be provided
  • Please wear closed toed shoes
  • Bring a portable lunch and water bottle

RBG will provide water and snacks for participants.
